World Health Organization (WHO)

The World Health Organization (WHO) is a United Nations organization that unites nations, partners, and people to promote health, keep the world safe, and assist the vulnerable - so that everyone, everywhere can achieve the best possible health. The World Health Organization (WHO) is in charge of global efforts to expand universal health coverage. They direct and coordinate the global response to health crises. WHO also supports better lifestyles. Their Triple Billion targets establish an ambitious strategy for the globe to achieve good health for all through the implementation of science-based policies and programmes. WHO seeks to address the elimination and eradication of high-impact communicable illnesses, the prevention of noncommunicable diseases, and the correct focus on primary health care to increase access to quality vital services through their efforts.
The delegates participating in this Committee's simulation will be required to address issues affecting the existence of the human race and provide solutions to the nations. The delegates will be responsible for passing on ideas and guidance on global health issues, as well as working for long-term finance and financial protection, particularly for the Least Economically Developed Nations.

Mr.Pratham Sharma is a fourth-year law student at GGSIPU's Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies. He has previously worked for the law firms IC Universal Legal and RSA Associates. He plans to study international law and work in a field related to it. He has been involved with MUNs and Youth Parliaments since 2013 and has served on a variety of committees in various capacities.

Mr. Goyal is a Master of Diplomacy, Law, and Business student at O.P Jindal Global University's Jindal School of International Affairs. He has been involved in the MUN circuit in various capacities for the past 7 years and enjoys exploring new committees and agendas. He assesses a person's journey not by the number of distinctions or laurels they have, but by their wisdom, sense of responsibility, and empathy. He aspires to carry out his responsibilities to the best of his ability and to provide a memorable experience for everyone around him.

Maaheen Faisal

Ms. Maaheen Faisal is an experienced and seasoned orator who knows the ins and outs of the debate world. She has always been interested in international relations and foreign policies, which helped her in securing a position in the Global Youth Forum. She has been actively involved in MUN conferences and debates for over 6 years, having participated in over a hundred debates both on a national and international level. Ms. Maaheen’s goal as a member of the Executive Board is to ensure that every participant leaves as a more qualified thinker, a better debater, and an overall more confident person than they were when they arrived.
